Matsubayashi Karate
Program Name: Matsubayashi Karate
Program Address: 113 Trescony St, Santa Cruz CA
Contact Phone: (831) 425-2249
Website: http://sczenkarate.org/
Detail: We are a small group, training in the old fashioned ways, in a traditional dojo with traditional warm hearted values. Matsubayashi-Ryu is a style that is in direct lineage of the founding masters of karate-do. Chamberlain Sensei had the unique opportunity to learn directly from its founder, Osensei Shoshin Nagamine, as well as his son, Soke Takayoshi Nagamine, along with many other senior sensei (Makishi Sensei, Tamaki Sensei, Nakamura Sensei). What we therefore proudly present, is the art without any dilution or distortion. This is as original as it can possibly get.
