Jones began training in 1980 under the guidance of Grandmaster Jerome Reitenbach, with Master A. Jones beginning in 1981. After moving to San Diego, CA, in 1985, the Jones' began training with Grandmaster James Wilson, SWAMA. The Jones' have six children all involved in martial arts. Four have attained the rank of 1st Dan in Taekwondo, while the other two are close behind.
