Detail: Mt. Diablo Hwa Rang Kwan is a Korean Martial Arts that consist of Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, and Kumdo. Dojang opened in Contra Costa County in July 20, 2005. Master Jose Isidro is the Chief Instructor and Owner. Mt. Diablo Hwa Rang Kwan emphasizes in self defense, discipline, family values, respect, loyalty, honesty, hard working and never quitting, The goal of each individual is to one day become a Black Belt in three arts. Master Jose Isidro has over 35 years of Martial Arts experience (since 1976) that includes Japanese, Filipino and Hawaiian Martial Arts. Trained under the Great Grandmaster D.K. Shin and Master D.Q. Shin of Hwa Rang Kwan - beginning in 1981. This Included brief training with Dojunim Ji Han Jae, Grandmaster Myung and associating with Grandmaster Duk Guk Kwon. Master Jose Isiddro also visited and trained in Korea with Great Grandmaster D.K. Shin with the Hwa Rang Kwan family. Master Jose Isidro believes In practical teaching of life experiences and real self defense. When Master Jose Isidro was a youth he fought many street fights in the South (United States) and was a former Filipino gang member in San Francisco in the early 1980's. Dealing with fists, guns, knives, clubs, and multiple opponent attacks, he was able to overcome every fight successfully with scars to prove this. Wisdom with ages has ended this and Master Isidro now teaches kids how to follow the right path in life using Marital Arts.
