Detail: Gold Medal Martial Arts provides a comprehensive experience in the martial arts for everyone of all ages, including programs such as Taekwondo, Mighty Monkees, Total Defense, Ranger Training and Kido (cardio kickboxing). Gold Medal Martial Arts prides itself on developing excellence in every student. We believe that each child/person possesses hidden talents that can be nurtured and developed. At Gold Medal Martial Arts, we focus on developing life-skills that will enhance our athletes in all aspects of social development. Our students excel academically, athletically, and interpersonally. Our mission is simply stated, “Excellence is Earned.†Gold Medal Martial Arts has a distinguished reputation for producing high performance athletes. Over the years, our programs have produced national and international champions including an Olympic Gold Medalist. With so many Taekwondo programs out there to choose from, Gold Medal has distinguished itself by emphasizing high quality instruction from instructors who are actively competing and coaching both nationally and internationally. Chief Instructor Grand Master Herb Perez's 39 years of competitive Taekwondo experience culminated in his greatest achievement, a Gold Medal at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. Master Perez is currently active in promoting his sport on a national level; he is the director for the USA Taekwondo Coach and Athlete Development programs. Gold Medal Martial Arts is committed to providing a positive experience helping our students achieve their fitness goals. However, our commitment does not stop at the physical level; we are dedicated to enhancing the mind and spirit. We believe martial arts cultivates life skills and character development. Thus, we are serious about service and provide classes each day to accommodate your schedule. All of the programs we offer have been specially designed by Master Perez and a team of education professionals. These programs reflect the innovative teaching methods and philosophies Master Perez has developed through his vast experience.
