Taekwon Do For Life
Program Name: Taekwon DO for Life
Program Address: 5145 Ming Ave, Bakersfield CA
Contact Phone: (661) 833-3691

Detail: With about 2,500 square feet of training space and employing some of the most advanced training tools and equipment, the School features an attractive workout area. Students will participate in various drills to strengthen their determination and their muscles. They will learn endurance through 30-45 minutes of continuous exercise, enhance their skills through repetitive and focused training and learn mastery over the nine colored forms and nine black belt levels. Other than the martial art attraction, one of the most influential aspects about our ATA Bakersfield school is its family orientation and its integration of martial arts into the lifestyle of the family. Students are reminded of having courtesy, loyalty and respect for others each time they begin a class. They also gain an understanding of perseverance and leave virtually every class stating they will have honor, maintain their integrity and control their actions. Every student knows they are representatives of the ATA, martial arts, the school and most importantly, their families. In addition, the ATA promotes, trains, and certifies its own instructors. Instructors are not only black belts, but are graduates of a three-year intensive internship. Those who complete the internship are nationally certified and must continually upgrade their instructional and business skills. In the ATA, we are not simply interested in teaching people to kick and punch. Our goal is to teach complete self-defense with both physical and mental aspects. We want our young black belts to become model citizens, do great in school and learn that Taekwondo or any martial art will help them throughout their life. They learn it helps improve concentration, dexterity, flexibility and more importantly shows them how to control their actions. ATA helps our instructors and students, understand and integrate the following seven key principles into their lives: courtesy, loyalty, respect, perseverance, honor, integrity and self-control. Individual attention is a feature of each and every class. This allows the student to progress quickly and confidently towards their personal goals. Our instructors take their responsibilities as role models for students, very seriously. Values such as strong character, integrity, leadership and goal setting are just a few of the themes our instructors reinforce in every class. These qualities are just some of the reasons our school has enjoyed such success.
