Detail: OC TKD has been in business for over 32 years, it has continued through three generations from instructor to student. As evolution has proven, each successive generation becomes better. The 3rd and current generation features two of the most knowledged and versatile internationally certified instructors ever to teach at Orange County TaeKwonDo. Both have unique backgrounds and extensive training in many martial arts, bringing you the best of all worlds. Long time teachers and even longer as students, they have over 29 years of combined experience in TaeKwonDo alone. Additonally as ITA (International TaeKwonDo Alliance) certified instructors they must annually attend national/international TKD conventions to re-certify before a panel of master level instructors. These conventions also include seminars to continually educate/update teaching methods and training techniques. These seminars include but are not limited to: basic training foundational skills, grappling, short stick, Han Mun Do, CDT (Counter Defensive Training). In addition we'd like to acknowledge and congratulate our growing team of elite trainee instructors. Their achievements of trainee instructor status have been attained through hard work and dedication. In order to be eligible these students must be black belts, demonstrate exemplary leadership, and possess the knowledge required. They have been through rigorous physical and written testing standards to ensure a high level of quality instructional ability. The tenet of Community comes to mind as these junior level instructors are passing the knowledge that they have gained through the years to their fellow students.
