Detail: Teams are offered from ages 4 1/2 – 16 years old. The divisions are referred to as U-6, U-8, U-10, etc. meaning “under 6, under 8, under 10″, etc. Players move up in the age divisions in the fall. COACHES SHOULD 1) Teach basic game and skills 2) Teach team concept and sportsmanship 3) Encourage learning through fun. PLAYERS SHOULD 1) Come to practice and games on time 2) Come prepared to play soccer 3) Have fun while learning teamwork 4) Be respectful of coaches, parents who assist at practices, and all officials. PARENTS SHOULD 1) Commit to having players on time for practices and games 2) Support and encourage the team, coach, and officials 3) Volunteer time as indicated at sign-ups SPORTSMANSHIP AND CONDUCT: Parents and team supporters are encouraged to become familiar with soccer rules before games begin. Sideline criticism of team play or coach’s strategy is poor sportsmanship. If you feel that you could do a better job at coaching, we have openings for coaches every season, please sign up !
