Detail: At Kobayashi Karate Fit, we offer a traditional Okinawa martial arts program consisting of classes separated by age and belt category for smaller class sizes, providing a more personal training experience from our instructors. We incorporate other styles of martial arts disciplines such as Kenpo, Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Jui Jitsu, Kick Boxing, Mui Tai and Caporea, in turn promoting a well rounded student. Our mission for Karate students is to increase learning capacities and the ability to challenge themselves mentally and physically. By training in an orthodox environment and learning to utilize the whole body movements of Kobayashi-Ryu, students develop tremendous power and speed which enables them to become very proficient in self defense situations. Kobayashi-Ryu is the main branch of four branches of Okinawa Shorin-Ryu Karate. Our lineage can be traced directly back to the roots of Okinawa Karate. Because of this direct lineage, the Kata (forms) we teach today are virtually identical to the Kata taught in Okinawa hundreds of years ago. All of our instructors, including Master Carr, continue to train on a regular basis so we are able to provide consistent instruction at the highest level. We welcome all ages and levels, from novice to the very experienced. Come and learn from the true Martial Arts Masters!! In addition to the martial arts programs, we offer exciting compliments like the super popular Zumba dance, traditional Hula dance and for those that want the X factor we have Boot camps for you!!
