Detail: Beaumont Shotokan Karate seeks to impart traditional Japanese karate training to our students. We desire to enable adults and children alike to excel in the physical aspects of the art of Shotokan. Additionally, we seek to empower our members with life skills which lead to the development of inner strength and self-discipline. Interwoven with our teachings of karate techniques and self-defense tactics are the teachings of the Dojo Kun: Seek Perfection of Character; Be Faithful; Endeavor; Respect Others; and Refrain from Violent Behavior. These traits are the marks of a true martial artist.
