Detail: Spring UMA Tae Kwon Do Academy was opened in 2003 by Master S. W. Kim to bring world-class Martial Arts training and competition to the Spring, Texas area. Located at 3315-B Spring Cypress Road, the 3,600 square foot Spring UMA facility is home to several current and future champions in the sport of Tae Kwon Do, including 2004 Olympic Silver Medalist Nia Nicole Abdallah. Spring UMA has already made a name for itself in Tae Kwon Do Tournament circles and our students have won hundreds of Gold Medals and First Place trophies in both sparring and forms competitions. Both Olympic-style Sport Tae Kwon Do and Traditional Tae Kwon Do are taught at Spring UMA with emphasis on technique and performance, while challenging each student to achieve their highest potential. The Youth program at Spring UMA is awesome, with children of all ages learning skills, discipline, self-control, and respectfulness that guides them in building character and confidence they will use throughout their lives.
