Detail: The path to knowledge and enlightenment begins with the first step. We welcome you to take that first step through our site to acquired first-hand information about our school, its activities, history, training, beliefs, and affiliations. We base our teaching on tradition as well as adapting to the sport side of Taekwondo. The history of our school can be traced through its travel from 1967 - Brooklyn New York, 1972 - 1974 Fort Bragg North Carolina, 1974 -Thailand, 1975 - Korea, 1976 -1982 - Fort Bragg North Carolina, 1982 -1987- Berlin Germany, 1987 - 1994 Fort Hood Texas, 1995 - to present Temple Texas. Our Instructors history can be trace back to the following Grandmasters: Russell Kozuki, Jimmy Brown, Wilton Bennett, James Cook, Hwang Kee (Founder of MooDukKwan and TangSooDo), Max Pallen Sr. ( Founder of Senkotiros Arnis). The history continues under Grandmaster Lascelles McCarthy II and his two sons Master Lascelles McCarthy III and Instructor Alex McCarthy, Master Michelle Guzman, and Master Riad Chtay. Instructors Mr. Patrick Heney, Assistant Instructors Ms. Neyda Camarena, Ms. Monica Chavez, Mr. Joseph Franco, and Mr. Jon Watkins. Our goal is to strengthen the mind, body, and spirit by teaching qualities of life, respect for yourself and others. In these pursuits one finds honor, a sense of accomplishment, courtesy, and the inner strength needed to succeed in all aspects of life. To the martial arts student and Parent, we will provide you the best instruction, facilities, and equipment available, so you have every opportunity to succeed beyond your greatest potential.
