Detail: Aikido of Denton is a not-for-profit educational organization whose mission is to spread the teaching of Aikido throughout the community. Aikido of Denton members study Aikido and its philosophy. Instructors teach on a volunteer basis to honor the responsibility they accepted as Aikido practitioners. All dues go to cover the expenses of offering Aikido to the community. Presently under the instruction of John Thompson, Aikido of Denton is a participating and important part of the Denton and Texas Aikido community. We offer regular adult classes, children's classes, and private introductory classes for groups (by appointment). As an associate under Aikido of Dallas, we are internationally affiliated with the United States Aikido Federation Eastern Region and to Hombu Dojo, Tokyo, Japan.
