Detail: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger opponent using leverage and proper technique; most notably by applying joint-locks and choke holds to defeat them. BJJ can be trained for self defense, sport grappling tournaments (gi and no-gi) and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition. BJJ permits a wide variety of techniques to take the fight to the ground after taking a grip or clinch. Once the opponent is on the ground, a number of maneuvers (counter-maneuvers) are available to manipulate the opponent into a suitable position for application of a submission technique. Our Main objective is to enhance your personal satisfaction and encourage growth in your physical and mental ability.
