Detail: We are a part of The American Taekwondo Association, which is one of the largest martial arts organizations in the world. ATA is made up of schools all over the United States and several other countries. Our school offers training in basic techniques, forms, weapons, board breaking, and sparring. We also offer instruction for those with special needs whether it is physical or cognitive. Specialized training is also available, such as cardio kick boxing and combat training. Cardo kick boxing classes combine martial arts and aerobics for unique cardiovascular workout that is sure to keep you in shape. The combat training classes allow students to learn ground fighting techniques as well as other sport fighting tactics. You can take the specialized classes without signing up for taekwondo classes. Taekwondo is not just another after-school activity. Basketball, soccer and baseball are all great activities for children, but Midtown ATA Martial Arts is personal development through physical discipline. Once we begin to develop a students self-confidence, we are then able to install the values of respect, courtesy, honesty, perseverance, and integrity that are the foundation of Martial Arts dating back thousands of years.
