Detail: Nashville Dojo was established in 1966 By Master Denny Shaffer. Nashville dojo is the oldest and longest running karate school in Nashville. It is an extreme pleasure and honor to have the opportunity to be Chief Instructor at the Nashville dojo. Nashville dojo has a long and distinctive history of some of the greatest instructors and karate-ka. I am excited to carry the honor , traditions and expectations of The Nashville dojo's past, present and future. I have been in Martial arts for over 22 years, and when the opportunity came for me to open a karate school and share my knowledge with everyone I jumped at it. God has given me a gift to teach children and guide them, and that is what I aim to do. The world out there today is a rough and dangerous place. I believe I can Help them get an edge in life, with my strength and confidence building programs. I have been teaching Isshinryu Karate since 1994 at the Nashville Dojo untill I moved to Lebanon. With those years of teaching and having four children of my own, I soon discovered that I could get the best out of my children by giving them the up most respect courtesy and love. That goes for all my young students as well. To get 110% you must give 110%.
