Detail: Since 1978 our mission has been to make our students more successful in life through their practice of the martial arts. We do this by presenting a curriculum that embraces a very dynamic and holistic philosophy, one that empowers the practitioner in personal safety and much more. Through our practice and teaching, we strive to enrich the students' lives by challenging them to attain physical and mental control that will bring the mind, body and spirit into harmony. Through this harmony, the practitioners lead a more enriched life, one that is not frustrated by obstacles, but one that is rich with possibilities. Headed by Shihan Shapero and a staff of expert instructors, Bodyworks Karate Center offers a number of programs for physical fitness and instruction in the Martial Arts.
