Detail: Master David Kremin is Head Instructor at Amkor Karate Institutes in Villanova, Pennsylvania and currently holds the rank of 6th Degree Black Belt. After serving an apprenticeship under Master Scott at Amkor Headquarters in Aston, Master Kremin assumed full teaching responsibilities in 1994 at Amkor's Newtown Square location. Master Kremin has represented the United States in international competition both at home and abroad. In 1993, Master Kremin won a Gold Medal in Team Fighting in Athens, Greece at the 5th International Tang Soo Do Championships. Two years later, he won a Gold Medal in Forms at the 6th International Tang Soo Do Championships held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and successfully defended his title in 1997 in Malacca, Malaysia. In 1998, Master Kremin represented the Mid-Atlantic Region as the Heavyweight Fighting Champion at AAU Nationals in Boca Raton, Florida. As the top fighter representing the states of Pennyslvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia, Master Kremin captured the Silver Medal at Nationals. Master Kremin's technical and competitive excellence is demonstrated by the success of his students, many of whom have won numerous Gold Medals in Forms, Fighting, and Weapons competition at AAU National Championships, AAU Junior Olympics, and USTL National Championships. At Amkor, we believe that people of all ages can benefit from improved coordination, balance, agility and strength by training in a disciplined and rigorous atmosphere.
