Detail: Kim’s World Taekwondo Martial Arts Academy was established in 1988 in Seattle, Washington, and relocated to Portland Oregon in 2004. Our school is under the direction of it's Chief Instructor and Grandmaster James Kim. Grandmaster Kim teaches the ways and spirit of Taekwondo and the Martial Art Way. He emphasizes the traditional values of respect, humility, perseverance, self control, courtesy, and integrity. His patience and experience sets an example for our students to follow. Our students are achieving success in their daily endeavors, as a result of their training and knowledge provided to them by our Instructors. Our academy regularly holds family outings, gatherings, parties and activities for current members and friends as a way to foster relationships and grow our community.
