Detail: The Educational Karate Program (EKP) is a partnership with schools, educators and community. It is a New York State Education Department Validated Program designed to train K-High School Physical Education Teachers the basics of self defense and enable them to include basic self defense as well as character development in their physical education curriculum. The program has been designed and is directed by internationally acclaimed karate Master and martial arts educator, Hidy Ochiai.
