Detail: The American Academy of Self Defense brings the Higest standards of Martial Art Training to its Students and Comunity. We serve Deer Park, Babylon, West Islip, Amityville, Copaigue, Lindenhurst, Dix Hills, North Babylon, West Babylon, Bay Shore, Wyandanch, Central Islip, Wheatley Heights, Brentwood, Brightwaters, and Huntington and other surrounding communities in both Nassau and Suffolk counties. The martial arts disciplines taught include karate, kung fu, kickboxing, and jiu-jitsu. We have Karate and Martial Arts programs for Children, Teens, and Adults as well as Women's Fitness programs. At our Martial Arts Academy we have "NO CONTRACTS" and reasonable and flexible tuition plans. No student will be denied study in karate, kung fu, kickboxing or jiu-jitsu solely on the ability to pay for lessons. It's a proven fact that martial arts students do better in schoolwork and social situations due to the skills taught in our school. Also in many team sports, unless you are most talented you usually sit and don't participate. In our schools we have 100% participation every class with all students receiving one-on-one attention during a training session.
