Detail: Croton Karate Dojo was founded in 2005 by Sensei Peter Doherty with the mission of bringing a well rounded martial arts training to students of all ages. Sensei Doherty teaches from a foundation in traditional Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate and incorporates elements from other martial arts and self defense training. HIs goal is to equip each of his students with the knowledge and ability necessary to defend themselves, whether in the ring or in real world situations. At Croton Karate we believe in teaching respect and discipline as an integrated part of martial arts training, and we seek to build self-esteem, character, and strength in each student.
