Detail: Blackbelt Taekwondo & MMA Center began offering instructions in world-class martial arts in Westchester starting in1982. We are very proud to say we have been in service for over 20 years in various places throughout the tri-state area including Westchester, Bronxville, Tuckahoe, New Rochelle, Yonkers, Scarsdale, White Plains, Mt. Vernon, Pelham, Briarcliff, Ossining, Pleasantville, Queens. We believe offering high-quality lessons in a welcoming and supportive, yet disciplined and challenging atmosphere with certified instructors is the secret to our prolonged success. We recognize the importance and uniqueness of each one of the members of our center and consider all of them integral parts of the Blackbelt TKD & MA family. Through martial arts TaeKwonDo, Jiujitsu, Kickboxing, Grappling, Boxing, anyone can get in to or maintain great shape, feel confident, achieve self-discipline, high self-esteem, and a positive attitude in all aspects of their life. The enhancement of character, values, and principles also develop from the practice of these martial art forms, and can lead to remarkable improvements in other personal areas of one's life, such as academics, career, and relationships. We are also proud to present Summer Camp and After-school Programs. The summer camp program is equipped with a variety of recreational fun activities such as active games, indoor and outdoor sports, arts and crafts, wooden crafts, public speech activities, brain teasers, music and dance, skits and shows, swimming, and weekly trips. The after-school daycare program is designed for parents who are looking for a warm, nurturing environment after school and therefore it focuses much more on academic skill-building, homework assistance, supervised computer use and strengthening social skills and interests.
