Detail: JK Tae Kwon Do first opened in Burbank, April 1992, by Grand Master Jin Ki Lim, a certified 8th Degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a black belt in Hapkido and Kigumdo. Grand Master Lim holds a political role of Vice President in California Tae Kwon Do United (CTU). Since his successful establishment of JK Tae Kwon Do in Burbank, California, he has expanded and has opened four more studios: in Bakersfield, Reseda, Glendale, in Southern California, and one in Acapulco, Mexico. The Korean Art of self-defense has hundreds of years of rich and influential culture and tradition. Grand Master Jin Ki Lim prides himself in its tradition and its techniques, and has devoted his life to its development.
