Detail: Shorin-Ryu Shidokan Karate-Do was headed by Katsuya Miyahira Hanshi, 10th Dan until his death in November 2010. He was a student of Chosin Chibana Sensei. Katsuya Miyahira Hanshi was also the head of the International Shorin-Ryu Association. Shorin-Ryu Shidokan Karate-Do was introduced to the United States by Miyahira Sensei’s senior student, Seikichi Iha Sensei. Iha Sensei is the head of Beikoku Shidokan, the North American Shidokan Association.
