Detail: The Asheville Judo Club is dedicated to the development and practice of the Martial Art/sport of Judo. We welcome anyone who is interested in having fun while at the same time working hard. We teach traditional Kodokan Judo in a fun, relaxed environment, while at the same time stressing both the self-defense as well as the sport (competition) aspect of Judo. We encourage competition, be it randori (free “sparingâ€) in class, or shiai (formal competition) on a state, national, or international level.
