Detail: Edward H. Williford is the Owner and Head Instructor at Triad Martial Arts Family Training Center, located in High Point, North Carolina. Edward Williford is a 6th Degree Black Belt and has 40 years of Martial Arts training. He is a Certified WTF Kukiwon Blackbelt, Taekwondo and a Certified ITA 6th Degree Black Belt, Taekwondo. Edward is also a Certified ICHF Black Belt in Hapkido, a Certified CDT Tactical Master Instructor, and a Certified USTU Referee. He has coached many students to N.C. State & US National Championship titles. He has also hosted many World and Olympic champions for seminars at his school. Edward Williford offers FREE and knowledge self-defense, self-awareness seminars as community service. In 1995 he was the USTU N.C. Board Chairman of Rules and Referees and in 1976 he was the US Masters Full Contact Fighting Champion, in which he was undefeated until retiring in 1980. Our school was founded in 1985. Originally known as The High Point School of Taekwondo, the name was changed to Triad Martial Arts Family Training Center in May of 2001 to reflect the diversity of our curriculum. Our spacious new facility here in High Point, NC offers over 3000 square feet of matted training surface. We are High Point's oldest and largest martial arts school. We offer Taekwondo, Korean Hapkido, Personal self-defense and Fitness Kickboxing. In addition we also offer children's birthday parties. At Triad Martial Arts we use a modern approach when teaching traditional self-defense skills to children, teens, and adults. A strong emphasis is placed on life-skills training, self-confidence building, focus, flexibility, and fitness. We offer classes for children only, families only and for the individuals who want to train a little harder, we offer adult only classes.
