Detail: The Mankato MMA/Judo club lays claim to being one of the oldest student organizations on campus. What began years ago as the campus Judo club has grown to incorporate other disciplines to reflect todays modern competitions of MMA. To meet the challenges of this exciting sport, we have added training from Brazillian Jui Jitsu, Submission Wrestling, Muay Thai, and Boxing. Classes are very well rounded and will provide a solid fitness base, as well as teach fundemental fighting techinques for both stand up and ground ranges. All levels of practicioners are welcome, and each semester brings in new members with verying levels of experience, from novice to professional competitor. Classes are held on and off campus. Campus classes are free, and professional and Sunday free classes are held at Mankato Martial Arts on Victory Drive.
