Detail: The mission of NE Comets is to foster, teach and advance the game of soccer in CT among youth up to, and including, the age of 19. NE Comets strive to instill life-long values such as leadership, sportsmanship, team work, excellence, and respect. Passion for the game of soccer is the driving force behind NE Comets. NE Comets thrive on introducing the great game of soccer to young athletes (ages 5-9) via Mighty Mites. The program is the foundation for producing strong Premier Developmental programs (U9-U12) which become advanced Premier (U13-U19) teams in CT with emphasis on both individual and team skills. Older teams are given every opportunity to be showcased in front of college recruiters for the potential to play in college and beyond. Why Comets? - "The Comets are not a soccer-mill like a lot of other programs. It is a team, a family really, that has an overriding goal of making each girl a better soccer player and a better individual."
