Detail: The Hattiesburg Youth Soccer Association (HYSA) encompasses the Division 2 and 3 programs. HYSA is the backbone of the total program, partnered with the City of Hattiesburg's Parks & Rec program to offer a city program for recreational soccer. The Division 3 (Recreation) program exist for all those interested in playing soccer at the basic level. The recreation program is played entirely at Tatum Park, the main Hattiesburg soccer facility. The Hattiesburg Futbol Club (HFC) program exist for those wanting a more competitive experience in soccer. This can comprise the Academy Program as well as the Select Program. HFC uses paid staff coaches with official coaching license, as well as many having multiple levels of playing experience. The key to the HFC program is centered around the development of the individual player. The overall philosophy for both clubs is to offer a positive environment for all participants, no matter their interest, in which they can learn to love, play and develop in the worlds greatest sport.
