Detail: In these troubling times, learning how to protect yourself has become increasingly important in the world. Traditional martial arts teach you Discipline, Courtesy, Respect for yourself and surroundings. It provides a great opportunity for self discovery and learning about self defense. At The Lone Wolf Dojo, we teach Pan American and USA Goju Ryu Karate, which emphasizes close quarters fighting tactics, utilizing powerful upper and lower body strikes, Aki-Jujitsu joint locks, Judo throws/take downs. Students are also taught diaphragmatic breathing techniques to improve their strength and control. While steeped in tradition, the key to growth in any system is seeking further knowledge, and developing techniques that will be most effective regardless of the situation. That is why The Lone Wolf Dojo enjoys a vast martial arts network, spanning many disciplines and locations, with the intent to share and develop our art through fellowship and sharing of technique and philosophy. For those who are not interested in learning the traditional martial arts, who only want to learn self defense, we also provide classes specifically designed with that in mind. These classes teach you various thought processes, ranging from threat awareness in the streets to tactical offense and fending off multiple attackers.
