CKD Founder, Grandmaster Kwang Jo Choi, has 56 years of experience in the field of Martial Arts and Health . CKD was created utilizing the latest research in the fields of Anatomy, Physiology, Psychology, Neurophysiology, Bio-mechanics and Neuropsychology. Grandmaster Choi left Koera in 1967 as a Tae Kwon Do pioneer going overseas to promote the Korean martial art and culture. CKD is a martial arts that uses natural princeipals to bring personal development to an individual. Starting form the individual, the goal is to create a healthy society thereby benefiting the entire country and it’s people. Grandmaster Kwang Jo Choi spent 9 years developing this new martial art and introduced CKD to the world in 1987. Practioners of CKD come from various backgrounds and include children and adults from 3 years of age to 90. The fact that there are active instructors over 70 years old shows that anyone can benefit and practice this martial art. CKD is being tought to the US Rangers in Ft. Benning, Georgia, Clemson Univ. the FBI and the DEA.
