Detail: Heroes Taekwondo Academy was opened by Sabumnim David Garcia and his wife Miss Patty (who is now a student herself). The school was built with the help of students and parents who believed in the values and traditions Sabunim David had been teaching at his previous Dojang. This support and late nights together as a "Taekwondo Family" allowed the Dojang to be built in one month. Our Dojang is a monument to the dedication, hard work and trust from these families. We make the same promise to you as we have to these families, and that is to dedicate ourselves to our students and to run a respectable and honest school for everyone to enjoy. We believe that by creating a strong foundation and stressing strong family values with the teachings of traditional Taekwondo we can help develop well rounded children, teens and adults. Understanding that not everyone is created equally, but that everyone should have the opportunity to learn and experience the Korean martial art of Taekwondo our training is flexible for all individuals. We focus on discipline, self control, respect and honesty while training ourselves to become fit and healthy both mentally and physically. Make no mistake we train hard at Heroes Taekwondo Academy and this will not change nor will our dedication to keeping Taekwondo traditional.
