Detail: Mountain Empire Kempo Karate {MEKK} has been in operation since January of 1998. The school's owner and cheif instructor Chris Massie holds the rank of 4th. degree Black Belt in Tetsu Shin Ryu Kempo and was trained by Tommy Seigler of Seigler's kempo and Jijitsu in Martinez GA. MEKK is a martial arts school that teaches students to always strive to be their best at what ever they attempt.Our goal is not Black Belt but Black Belt Excellence simply meaning that whether it be a technique in class or preparing for a math test at school,always strive to do your best and put forth a black belt effort. MEKK has adult classes also but we are especially proud of our childrens program. We started out with one student in 1998 and he's still here today. We now average 25-30 in each kids class and with our new location and larger facility we are continuning to grow.
