Detail: The Dojo, one of Ohio's finest black belt leadership schools. We established in the beautiful Mason, Ohio area in January of 2007. From the moment you walk in you will feel that this is a truly magical place of growth and personal transformation. The Japanese word "dojo" means training hall. Our one-of-a-kind training hall is a brand new high quality facility, specifically designed to practice traditional Japanese martial arts. The Dojo is operated by full-time professional teachers. Our black belt instructors have over 40 years of teaching experience in Martial Arts, as well as leadership training, ADD/ADHD teaching, advanced weaponry, corporate leadership, philosophy and meditation. Our techniques are reality-based. From day one, you will learn everything from blocks, throws, joint locks, kicks, pressure points, strategy, striking, as well as modern day grappling, weapons defenses and comprehensive ground defenses. Younger students from ages 4-7 will have fun working on improving attention focus, self-discipline, confidence, strength, stranger danger escapes, and how to develop a positive and respectful attitude in school and at home.
