Detail: Three Treasures is an internal martial arts school. We strive to learn martial arts in their entirety, not merely as a system of fighting, although fighting is indeed an important aspect; thus the term "Martial". If you are looking to find a fighting system devoid of spiritual practice, rest assured that these facilities abound. This is not to say that the external styles, such as Tae Kwon Do, Karate, or any of the many other external styles is inferior. Every established Martial Arts style is effective in its own right , having its own code of ethics, traditions, and customs. Sifu William Kobbs, Chief Instructor, first began his practice of Martial Arts at age 8 in a style known as Do Vee Fut Kung Fu.. Since then, he has had 28 years of cumulative Martial Arts experience in various styles including Goju Ryu Karate, Aikido, Shaolin Kung Fu (Both Southern and Northern), as well as Chen and Yang Style Taijiquan. Presently, Sifu Kobbs teaches Shaolin Fundamentals, Taijiquan and elements of Baguazhang, Cheng Style.
