Detail: Bill Anistratov is the head instructor at the International Karate & Fitness Center in Forest Hills, NY. Bill Anistratov is a multitalented and decorated karate instructor who has personally trained over thirty national and international competitors, including US team members. He began training in 1978 at the Shotokan Karate Institute (presently Shotokan Karate USA), and in 1982 received a first degree Black Belt. Subsequently in 1984 he received a second degree Black Belt and his third degree in 1995 at the International Karate Center. He is presently a fourth degree Black Belt as well as a certified kickboxing instructor from the National Association of Professional Martial Artists. Sensei Anistratov’s competition history begins in 1979 and covers ten years, in which he won twenty-three medals in Local, Regional, National and International level tournaments. Most importantly, he was a member of the US National Karate Team at the 1985 World Games and a member of the 1984 East Coast gold medal-winning New York State team. With over thirty years of teaching experience, Sensei Anistratov is the consummate instructor. Sensei Anistratov trained with the top ranked Martial Arts professionals of the world, including Alex Sternberg, Tokey Hill, Eyal Yanilov, Moti Horanstine, and many others. He brings his championship-level training to students, instilling a drive to achieve in each and every one that enters the Center. Sensei has created his own unique hybrid style of Mixed Martial Arts which fuses the main base system Shotokan Karate with Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Krav Maga and others. Our staff here in Forest Hills, NY has the confidence and belief that anyone can succeed in any of our programs while having a lot of fun doing so. Students will achieve many different skills and techniques and will feel a sense of accomplishment.
