Detail: Tae Cole Tae Kwon Do and Fitness, Inc. is New York's premier school for martial art's instruction. Owned-and-operated by Maggie and Ray Messina, who have extensive background in the martial arts, it is one of the few dochang's to have been founded by a woman, who also happens to be it's president and master instructor. At Tae Cole Tae Kwon Do, we teach traditional Tae Kwon Do in a clean, friendly, and non-threatening environment. We adhere to the old ways of Tae Kwon Do instruction in the Tae Kwon Do Federation style as set forth by General Choi, the Father of Tae Kwon Do, and not a watered down version. We have separate Tae Kwon Do classes for adults, teenagers, and children, ages 3 to 70. Beginners are given private instruction until they feel comfortable to join the group. We have group, semi-private, 1-on-1, and house call instruction, (there is a waiting list), as well as birthday parties. Our students are varied in many ways and some have special needs, which we readily accommodate. Home-schooled students can fulfill their physical education requirements by attending our classes. Maggie and Ray Messina believe in "giving back" and are involved in many charity events, and often donate their time freely.
