Detail: Lim’s Tae Kwon Do Academy was founded February 19, 1996 by Jaewon Lim. We have several state, national, and international champions that have trained at our school. We have many Black Belts actively training at our school, in keeping with our goal of “building a stronger community, one Black Belt at a timeâ€. Jaewon Lim has been training in Tae Kwon Do since 1975 and is a 7th Dan Black Belt (the highest attainable rank being 9th Dan). Having taught in both Florida and Michigan, she has coached numerous individuals in national-level competitions as well as receiving the “Coach of the Year†award twice. Lim’s Tae Kwon Do Academy is affiliated with the Chang Moo Kwan school within the World Tae Kwon Do Federation and USA Tae Kwon Do. All of our Black Belts are certified and recognized through the World Tae Kwon Do Federation. Our instructors are also certified and dedicated to ensuring that our students learn traditional Tae Kwon Do in a fun, safe, and rewarding atmosphere.
